It’s Monday and it’s 11:45pm at night and I’m getting pretty excited for my TED talk on Saturday. I am currently sitting down in my living room, listening to the humming of the house and my dad’s footsteps upstairs. I am rehearsing the words and the flow of the presentation in my head.
This is the first time I can visualize myself speaking in front of the crowd and that’s why I’m writing this now. This is a pretty remarkable feeling to have achieved this serenity. I have been waiting and trying so hard to imagine the day, but to no success. Tonight it’s finally happening.
My slides are done, my speech is complete. I have to work on the delivery now. Like they say, the last stretch is the hardest but I know it will be so worth it.
